TITLE: Elysium task

INSTRUCTIONS: This film shows a terrible world where 99,99999 percent of people live in very bad or even terrible conditions in a polluted and dry planet while a very rich elite live in a huge space station in perfect conditions. This is inequality at its maximum expression. 

What could be done to prevent this from happening? PLEASE, write your advice:

For those who do not have a pass for the poor, they should fight for their rights and make them understand that we are all the same, not because we have more money.

TITLE: A job application letter

I saw your nuncio on a web page, I'm writing to apply for the job as a sales clerk at your clothing store, on Mondays and Wednesdays.

I am fifteen years old and I am a student of the institute Ies El Palo for four years.
I would be ideal for that job because I love clothes, I am very responsible, kind and hardworking.

In the summer I help my cousin with her clothing store to place them ...
I am interested in this job because I love clothes and pay well.

With my letter I send a photo helping my cousin with his store.

TITLE: Tell me the truth, do the Three Kings really exist?

Dear Mr Defensor del Lector of El País,

My name is Virginia and I am 8 years old. Some of my older friends say the Three Kings don't really exist. I asked my dad and he said to write to you about it. He said he is sure you can give me the right answer. Please, tell me the truth, do the Three king really exist

 

 The parents are the ones who put the gifts, but the Magi if there was what happens is that being three kings could not bring gifts to all children and thought that who better than the parents to put gifts and not lose the tradition.

TITLE: El Palo Now vs El Palo in the past

INTRODUCTION: 

 

I live in Olías El Palo is Entertaining because there are many bars where to go, many places where to be with your friends, be on the beach, stroll along the promenade ....

 

BUILDINGS: 

 

In the past there were More houses than buildings all painted white, the streets were not finished were dirt, there were caves.

Thre used to be It was not so entertaining because there were not so many bars ... there were not the things there now.

Now there are Many more things than before: shops, libraries, parks ...

There are more buildings than houses painted in color, the streets finished.
There are big supermarkets, promenade, beach bars ...

JOBS:People used to work as they worked as fishermen, farmers, teachers, bakers and most of the women in the houses. Now, most people work in/as Now some people are still working the same as before, there are also teachers, bakers ...

Others work as police, firefighters, in offices, in construction, as taxi drivers ...

TRANSPORT People in the past used to travel by/on Were transpotaban in horses, donkeys, cars, tram or walking.

Now, people normally travel by/on 

Now people are transpotan in the public transport: bus. By train, car, subway, plane, motorbike ...

CONCLUSION 

 

In my opinion, El Palo is better Now because there are many more things and places to go then it is more entertaining and has changed a lot for the better./ worse  now/ in the past because 

TASK # 2
TITLE: Juan's Story.

DEADLINE: 1 November evening (not later than 9)

Juan has convinced his parents to let him use the house they have in the country to spend a few days with his friends. It`s a long weekend and Juan and his friends drive to the house to spend their holidays there. The date is 1November, All Saints' Day. Juan and his friend decide to have a Halloween party. They dress up and decorate the house with pictures of skeletons, skulls, ghosts and monsters  to help create the rigth atmosphere. They have also bought beer and other drinks.

It`s late in the evening and it`s getting rather cold and windy. The rain starts coming down. Suddenly the lights go off. Alicia, one of Juan`s friends suggests they can do a ouija session in the dark to have some fun. They all agree with enthusiasm. They set up everything and start doing it. However they weren`t prepared for the events that would happen later in the house and that they would never forget the rest of their lives.

In the House begin to occur things quite rare the entrance door suddenly opens one to spend a few seconds closes, John approaches and begins to hear background voices to give the return note as if a hand touched him, his friends go out to see if there was someone but return quickly to see something very strange , like a shadow white suponian that was a man saying something that did not understand, they decide to go to sleep and close all doors and windows well but that night was very scary, very strange things passed, the next day they went very early to their houses, very scared.
